The Museum of Islamic Sciences is designed to illustrate the great achievements in science reached in the Islamic world during the 8th until the 15th century AD. Distributed on 10,000 square meters, the exhibitions will lead visitors through the evolution of Islamic Science from its very origins.
The exhibition includes sections on: Astronomy and navigation, timekeeping, civil and military engineering, optics, medicine, and chemistry. Each subject is displayed through models, media installations, films, and a multi-language audio guide system.
The project features state-of-the-art museum technology from Germany. The Museum of Islamic Sciences is designed to accommodate a high number of visitors per year. The Vista Media & Design team carried out a content research project in cooperation with leading scientific experts and developed a concept design for the project.
