“Mission to Mars” is a 360-degree motion ride science experience about a journey to the first human colony on Planet Mars. The latest high-resolution satellite imagery and 3D laser scan data from NASA are used to create a highly realistic, scientifically accurate, yet exciting experience.
Our mission begins at a space station orbiting the red planet. We enter a small space craft which transports us on a bumpy ride into the atmosphere of Mars. Although we think we might know the planet, it looks strangely unfamiliar to us as we get closer to the rocky surface. On our journey to the colony, we experience bizarre landscapes with snow-covered mountains. Breathtaking views of the 22-kilometer-high Olympus Mons are on sight. The highest mountain in our solar system.
We fly through a gigantic rift valley system when suddenly a massive sand and dust storm rises. It is impossible for our spacecraft to navigate around the storm, and we fly directly into the cyclone. As the storm passes, we see scientists working at a site of a once active volcano. Far away we suddenly recognize a station. A Mars vehicle overtakes us. Dome-like structures and greenhouses lie ahead of us. We have finally reached our goal.
With a duration of 7 minutes the experience can be adapted to any motion ride system and screen configuration including Full Dome. Please contact us for an inquiry.
